Vibrant Health Advocates – Andromeda depends on the support of people who believe — as we do — that disabled people in Glenrothes deserve health and wellbeing provision that actually works for them.
We are a community organisation in the truest sense: everything we achieve is the result of people coming together around a shared commitment to inclusion and health equity in Fife. There are three main ways to get involved — volunteering your time, donating, or forming a partnership with us — and we would welcome a conversation about whichever fits you best.
No prior experience in health or disability services is required to volunteer. No minimum gift amount applies to donations. No organisation is too small to partner with us. What matters is the shared commitment to making wellbeing genuinely accessible in Glenrothes.

We are always looking for volunteers to help facilitate sessions, support participants, assist with administration, or lead specific activities. You do not need a health or social care background — you need warmth, reliability, and a genuine commitment to accessibility.
Volunteering roles include session support, befriending, accessible transport escort, administration, and specialist activity leadership (arts, music, horticulture, and more). All volunteers receive an induction and ongoing support.
Volunteer with usYour donation funds session delivery, accessible materials, venue hire, and the small operational costs that keep our work running week after week. Every pound given to Vibrant Health Advocates – Andromeda stays in Glenrothes and goes directly to supporting disabled people in our community.
We are a registered SCIO and all donations are used in accordance with our charitable objects, with full financial transparency through our annual OSCR filing. We gratefully acknowledge all donations in our annual report.
Donate or enquireWe work with GP practices, social work teams, disability organisations, and local businesses who share our commitment to accessibility and inclusion. If your organisation wants to develop a referral pathway, co-deliver a workshop, or support our work through in-kind contributions, we would love to hear from you.
Current partners include NHS Fife Health Promotion and Fife Council Social Work. We are always open to new partnerships that extend our reach or deepen our impact in the Glenrothes and Fife community.
Explore partnershipEvery contribution — of time, money, or expertise — translates directly into sessions delivered, connections made, and information reaching someone who needed it.
Our running costs are modest and every pound is carefully stewarded. Session delivery — staff time, venue hire, accessible materials, transport coordination — accounts for the overwhelming majority of our expenditure. We keep administration costs low and are transparent about how funds are used through our annual OSCR filing.
When you support Vibrant Health Advocates – Andromeda, you are helping us keep the doors of our community sessions open. You are funding the large-print health leaflets that a participant takes home to read in their own time. You are making it possible for us to hire an accessible venue when the cheapest option is upstairs with no lift.
You are ensuring that disabled people in Glenrothes get the same quality of health information and wellbeing support as everyone else. That is the work. That is what your support enables.
Enables an additional participant to attend each session, knowing there is someone there to offer direct, personalised support.
Funds the accessible venue hire, large-print materials, and staff time that make every session possible — every week of the year.
Opens new referral routes and brings specialist knowledge into our programmes — extending what we can offer and who we can reach.
